A short walk from the Upper Castle of Marostica, the Ornithological Museum is dedicated to the breeding birds of the province of Vicenza and to the art of falconry. In a spectacular natural amphitheatre, on the backdrop of the Venetian Pre-Alps, flight demonstrations of these majestic animals take place, with theme days and trips to discover the world of birds. more

The tour begins in the teaching hall, introducing visitors to the world of migratory birds, then moves to the exhibition halls, where you look at the collection arranged in crystal cabinets and allowing a 360-degree view of each animal. AIR - the Italian Association for Birds of Prey was established in 1991 by enthusiasts, ornithologists and students with the common goal of protecting and studying birds of prey in Italy. Believing in a focused scientific effort, they were engaged in the study of biology, ethology and poultry diseases, also dealing with rehabilitation and captive breeding more


From March to October: Sundays 10 a.m. to 12 noon and from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Other days by appointment only.

Flight demonstrations are held every Sunday at the following times:
March - April - May - September - October: time 4.30 p.m.;
June - July - August: time - 5 p.m.
