Recoaro Terme

Archaeological site in Campetto and Cima Marana

the site

At over 1,500 meters above sea level, along the watershed of the basins of Agno and Chiampo, there is a site where you can discover the archaeology of the mountains and the ethnoarchaeology, to find out about the ancient ways of human settlements and the exploitation of the resources of the territory since prehistoric times.

The Sella di Campetto (1553m, in the municipality of Recoaro Terme) is located between Mount Campetto and the Summit of Cengia Bianca, along the ridge line which forms the watershed between the basins of Agno and Chiampo. The summit of Cima Marana (1552m, in the municipality of Recoaro Terme) is a part of the system of ridges, which forms the watershed between the basins of the two rivers.
The locations are easily accessible by chairlift (Recoaro-Montefalcone).
