The town
The Malo of today reveals strong rural roots, a thriving industrial past witnessed by ancient silk mills, now transformed into elegant style accommodation, and numerous villas and manor palaces, as well as a more modern entrepreneurial stamp, which maintains the strength of the local economy.

The church of San Bernardino from the Roman era, which now houses the City Council, is definitely worth a visit. Noteworthy is the Sanctuary of Santa Maria Liberator, which overlooks the city and offers an unparalleled view of the plains below. Inside, you can admire an ancient fourteenth-century fresco of the "expecting" Madonna.
The green lung of Malo is the "Montecio". Here the native flora has been preserved beautifully, becoming an ideal place for walks. It offers suitable facilities for various sports, and pleasant picnic areas.
