Inside the complex of the Grotte di Oliero, four caves can be admired: the main one called the Covolo dei Veci and the Covolo dei Siori, which can be visited thanks to a small wooden boat that allows you to reach, accompanied by expert guides, the belly of the mountain, between stalactites and stalagmites that provide the backdrop for an enchanted realm. The other two caves, which can be visited on foot and located above the others, keep the memory of the flow of water in ancient times. The Parolini family owned the whole area of the Oliero caves, and therefore the young Alberto Parolini had the opportunity to make here his exporations. For the abundance and constancy of the water that came out of the mountain and for the already known presence of a couple of caves, he hypothesized a rich and hidden underground water network. He worked to enlarge some cracks in the mountain, using dynamite, and in 1822 he was able to first cross the inner pond of the Covol dei Siori. Please note that the last ticket will be available 60 minutes before the building closes. The visit by boat to the Caves lasts 30 minutes, the Park can be visited during the opening hours. We recommend comfortable clothing and a k-way or a sweatshirt for entering the cave as the temperature iside is about 12 degrees Celsius.

During all the year it is possible to visit for groups and high schools for 40 people by booking by 12.00 on the day before the visit by calling +39 0424 558250.
The Grotte di Oliero app is available, which can be downloaded for free, and is useful in support of the visit to the place and the environment all around.
